FEINER WORKING ON PRIVATE FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN TO HELP LIBRARY OFFSET CUTS IN BUDGET

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner has promised to help organize a fundraising initiative for the Greenburgh Library. The library, like other departments in town government, has seen their budget cut (due to the great recession and property tax cap).  Supervisor Feiner is encouraging residents to donate money to the library –to help the library purchase new books and materials. Other libraries around the county have successful fundraising initiatives–some libraries depend on private donations to pay for 25% or more of their budget. If you would like to help the library and participate in their fundraising initiative please e mail pfeiner@greenburghny.com
