In 1983, when I was first elected as a member of the Westchester County Board of Legislators, I promised to be visible to the public before – AND AFTER – Election Day. Since the early 1980s I have held office hours at the Stop & Shop supermarket in Dobbs Ferry every Sunday. I’m at the supermarket from about 11:30 to 12:30 weekly.
